On with the Journey—A test of friendship

[Vennessa]

Vennessa stands of to the side smiling seeing with her new comrades, Warden, Arlen, Carrie, Fayth, Yume and Hatori. She breaks away from the conversation her smile soon disappearing as she slowly mounted herself upon her stead as she looked out at the vast land beyond her. Violet eyes now gleaming bright for the tent of them reflected the rays of the sun that now slowly rose above the group. Vennessa sighed as she put her hand upon her whip feeling the small blades on it. Her eyes still low and sadden like as she looked out into the horizon.

“The sun is rising upon us now, we must get going or we will loose the sun’s light.” She said as she slowly tilted her head back at the group behind her. Eyes shifting around the group as she stopped her gaze now upon Hatori as she stared at him with an intense hatred. “It’s been 9 years since we last met. Hatori Kanto…” She said in a harsh yet calm voice. Her glance then turned to Warden and Arlen in a tired way.

“Let’s just go… “Vennessa slowly turned back around and stared back out at the horizon waiting on the others.

[Warden]

"We will leave," said Warden, "As soon as I attend to Fayth."

Warden then turned around and walk off into the woods. He brushed the limbs out of his way as he walked through. He then saw a figure, to big to be Fayth, in a clearing. He slowly walked up behind the figure. When he reached her, he grabbed her arm, saying,

"Where is Fayth?"

[faith]

The feeling of something bad kept creeping up. The aura around her changed as the turn of the heels the small child ran.

Soon she was passing the woman and her protector. Then pass the camp as her feet carried her.

She finally stopped as she fell into a small creek about a day away from town. Her small muscles acked as she tried to rise to her small feet, yet only collasped.

They cant be here. It was just my mind seeing things. They can't be here

She thought as her mind raced.

[Arlen]

"Well fine then everybody lets just have a nice big reunion and not clue anyone else in on it how about that." Arlen yelled.

"As for you Hatori don't think you just skated out cleaner than a greased pig on a mudslide, me and warden will deal with you later when the time permits." Arlen said while staring the red-haired man down.

The rays of the sun now began to bounce off Arlen's belt buckle as he walked slowly toward his horse the morning sun now beating against the front of his body.

[Warden]

Warden saw Fayth run past him, yet he did not chase after her. His senses were fixed on some thing else. He saw, on the other side of the clearing, somone who should be dead.

"It can't be.." Said Warden, feeling his legs weaken, "It can't be. You can't be alive."

"But it is me." said the figure, "I have come to you, papa.."

Warden felt a surge of emotions flow through his body. It was her. She was alive. He ran do the figure, carressing her as she did him.

"It is you." said Warden, his eyes filled with tears, "You are alive, Kattalena."

[Hatori]

Hatori blinked as he looked towards Arlen and titled his head just a bit. “A greasy pig and a mud slide??...WHAT in the hell are you talking about?!" He yelled as he grumbled and scratched the top of his head, an soon turned away seeing warden run after Fayth.

“How pathetic, he’s reminds me of a mother hen, He always fallowing and protecting her and what not.” He said under his breath as he watched from afar as the little drama scene unfolded.

“Who is Kattalena? Man this guy has a lot of issues when it comes to emotion and stuff. This is just making me sick to my stomach." He mumbled as he turned away and looked towards Carrie. “Hello there! Do you have a horse to ride? If you don’t I have room for one person, so what do you say? princess." He smiled as he said this. “But if you already have a ride I'll under stand.” Hatori glanced only once back at the others and sighed.

Slowly making her way back , taking a soft easy walk. She saw the others and looked around. As everyone was watching her protector she was her little way over and began to gather what she though was useful from the others.

[Hatori]

Hatori sighed once more as his eyes shifted around the group and in the corner of his eyes he saw Fayth. So you are a thief just like Yume...this aught to be fun.. He thought as he jumped down off his horse and smirked. He turned away from the group and walked into the woods the sound of his boots hit the ground as he reappeared from the forest watching fayth. He slowly emerged from the forest right behind fayth his hand slowly rising to withdraw his shakujo.

“Well, Well what do we have here?. Its not nice to steal from others that protect you or even show you a little bit of warmth in life, and yet you repay them by stealing.." Hatori said as he twirled the bladed staff around his fingers a smirk across his face as he glared at her.

[faith]

She simply looks at the man then goes back to pulling things a part, taking what ever she needed. She knew the man would not hurt her. She smiles as she moved to another pack looking through it.

[Hatori]

Hatori's eyes narrowed as he looked at the kid in side his mind he seemed to snap as he stopped twirling the shakujo. “You have no Idea who I am, do you? If you don’t think I won’t hurt you, you are wrong kid!" When he said this hatori bent down and grabbed Fayth by the back of her shirt caller and glared at her. “I would drop the bag kid... While I'm steal in my good mood! “He yelled his dark crimson eyes showing no fear or emotion with in them as he held fayth.

She breaths slowly then smiles as she spats in his face. As she did his grip lighten as she moved from him quickly. She had no fear in this man, he was just another "Dudley DoRight" and was ready to fight him when or if she needed. She pushed a few more things in her pack and just stared at him.

[Warden]

Warden knew the others must be staing at him, but he did not care. He had finally found who he had been searching for. He had found his daughter. And he knew what must next be done; he must have his revenge against the people who used Kattalena and Carrie.

Warden stood up with Katt with him. He then walked over to the group, saying,

"Seeing that you all are here, I want you to meet my daughter, Kattalena."

Kattalena smiled, her youth easily shown. SHe then said to everyone,

"It is nice to meet you all, but please, call me Katt."

She then looked at all of the groups faces, seeing that all of them have had their share of hardships. She then saw a face she had seen before.

"Is that you, Carrie?" she asked.

[Vennessa]

Vennessa watched as warden held his daughter in his arms, but she didn't say anything she just nodded happy that he had found his long lost daughter katt.

Vennessa soon slowly turned hearing Hatori yelled from behind her. Her eyes now shifting to see who Hatori was yelling at, when she saw who it was her eyes widen in disbelief. what in the world? she thought as she walked up towards Hatori and saw the small girl stuff her bag with there things.

“What are you doing?!” She yelled as she put her hand upon her side, as she glared down at fayth like a hawk.

[faith]

Seeing the other woman she puts a smile on and takes a baw as she backs away slowly. She watched as the two watched her soon she will go into a sprint to her protector.

[Arlen]

"Boy howdy Red you sure do know how to pick on someone littler than you, but now that vennessa has it covered why don't you go pick the fleas of your horse's ass or something and put the little girl down. I'm sure that vennessa can deal with her just fine." Arlen said with a menacing look towards the commotion that was now taking place.

*Walking over to warden he placed a hand on his shoulder.

"You know as well as I do that we really need to get going if we're going to make decent time to White Village." Arlen said in a hushed voice

"Oh yeah and Red is gonna get his next time we stop from me and you because, well frankly no one comes into our group that cocky and doesn't get unseated from his throne of self-confidence. Are you with me warden?" Arlen said once again in a hushed voice but this time a very broad smile coming over his face.
