Just a few things I would like to put foreward to solidify things. First, can we name the darn thing? It sounds stupid calling it the second continent. Does the first continent even have a name? Well, who's in charge of the second continent's dealings? Thanatos said it fell under his department.
But anyway, I have a few ideas to throw foreward. First, Thanatos said half of the second continent would covered with MASS and wars would be waged against this threat everyday. Well, being as this might make Hanson's life a bit stressful (who wants a war going on in their back yard?) why don't we make a physical divide, such as a large river or mountain range which divded the second continent into the side Crawford Corp. is located on, and the side the MASS is located on?
Now, another thing that hit me. Perhps the second continent is owned, and ruled, by someone? A person I've deemed Felix Amethyst. I think it makes it seem a lot more material and machanical this way. Felix would have abandoned the war half of the continent, and only concerns himself with the technelogical utopia on the other side. Though, perhaps he inteands to infect them with the MASS in the end. I think it might add to his character, perhaps he hasn't been seen in person for a few years, and maybe he doesn't even live on it. I say we put him on a beautiful offshore island, where he can live quiet life. Of course, he's most likely a suspicisus character.
I've sent this to Nicholi already. I want his opinion before I delve too much into the evils of Felix Amethyst, but believe me, I have him set up as a shady character at the moment. If this contradicts anything that's already been planned, tell me so I can ajust things.
A few things about Hanson. I see no reason a few of the assins sent to kill him couldn't be MARK robots. Do we need to cover that now? So, many blank pages. Blank pages are good, mind you. because there's room to write. I just think a few pages need to be written.
And about the Crawford Corporation. What should they create that's made them such a large company? Weapons would be the first idea, though I don't like it particularly. To messy. I'd prefer something like computers. Perhaps they created a new form of internet. Or maybe they are creating animals similar to Uri. But if Uri is to be a biological engineerd, then dragons may not be the only fusion beasts out there. Yes, perhaps they were created in many different animal form, but all have been destroyed since then. If Crawford Corp. did not create Uri, someother company would have had to in any case. (And perhaps this company sold all it's stock to military, so the animals could used in the war war against the MASS. this could explain how Uri is the only one left. And it could also add a more grim possibility, that the MASS took control of all the fallen 'fusion beasts' (which will be the official name of them for now, I suppose) and are using them for their own devices. Here's a question, what happens if Uri fuses with the MASS? MASS Dragon? Would Uri be in control? Or would the MASS? Wouldn't that be interensting?...) So, I think Crawford Corp. should be a computer industry. Any better ideas?
I suppose that's the best ending line there is. Anyone else have any ideas? Does this contradict anything, is so, please bring it up.
And about RPGing. Such as those assassins, do I even need to bring those up? Or do I just introduce them on my own time? Do we need to plan things such as who the assasins are out? Do I simply create the villian, insert when I feel the need and let you all take it as it comes? That seems unorganized. And what I have seen here is very organized. Sorry, I've never been in an RPG like this.
Hope everyone is having excellent holidays,
Hanson Crawford
