From this point forward, I am invoking a new policy. All accounts that have been inactive for 20 days, will be terminated. The user will recieve an email 10 days before termination of their account. This process will be judged on the last time the person posted plus the number of days since then. If the user fails to post in the alloted time, the account will be terminated.
I would also like to point out the following: Since Tales of Phantomile, I would like to ask that anyone who has no intent of roleplaying, leave and find another forum to talk on. Only users who have been granted special permission by me, Nicholi, will be allowed to stay on the site and not roleplay.
Regards, -Nicholi Anhelo-

lol don't you think this is a little overboard? I mean yes i know it's anoying when people just use your forum to chat but you only have about 25 members anyway... it's not like your forum is some huge cluttered beast like the gmc (GameMaker Community)... sorry to say it but as much as i agree that people who only join a forum to talk about stuff that has nothing to do w/ the forum itself should die, this is kind of silly (just like this post actually so i'll stop now before you kick me off )

This does seem a bit strict, and I'll agree, I had a jolly good laugh or two about it myself. There is a clear and definite point in the formation of this new policy, however. ToP is simply trying to eliminate its inactives, and halt problems stemming from this inactivity before it begins. On normal para role-plays (the popular term for ToP's style), adventures often grind to a screeching halt mid-battle due to the lack of posting on the part of a major character. While ToP is admittedly much larger than one of these tiny adventures (see www.rpgchat.com for an example), problems resulting from this infamous issue could still occur. Don't consider this as tight a policy as it first appears; twenty days is an awful long period of time. Not only that, but if through some means the individual in question is able to contact a ToP official and explain the reason for their absence, comprises will naturally be made. We hardly want to lose players.

Heh... and just for the record, I'm just in one of those occasional lapses of creativity, writer's block and otherwise. Granted, I shall soon begin my conquer of both the IC and OOC realms, now that I have inspiration from the recent Compilation of ToP... *evil grin*
On a not-so-entirely-off-topic note, would Electra happen to be one of those exclusions? I just don't want to see the site turn pink again from another power struggle...#nosmileys

A gut feeling deep within me tells me that another power struggle will eventually become inevitable as multiple individuals attempt to twist the underlying aspects of ToP in many different directions at once.
However, The Mission is backed up quite often, so any resulting deletions or the like should not impede the progress of the rest of ToP's denizens for long.
Yes, I would definitely consider Electra an exception.
