Had a great Halo moment today Was standing on top of the blue base, and I was blue. A red guy comes seemingly out of nowhere and we jump at each other across the pit in the center. In midair, I punch him and we both fall. I land on my feet, he lays dead. It was one of those have-to-be there moments, but still... very kool.

There's an absolutely beautiful aspect to this game that someone with enough mind to could write a book about: Warthog Physics. The sheer flexibility and craziness of the engine used in calculating vehicle crashes on the PC version of Halo makes for a very enjoyable game every time. Multiple flips are commonplace, and the turning system is dead-on. So much more than simply for the hand-to-hand combat, this is why I continually go to Mr. Johnson's room. With a heavy heart I must state that tomorrow is Fuma's final game for quite awhile. No longer will the Twin Stars unite and thoroughly slay the other team, either on foot or in vehicles. Now Kamui will be by his lonesome, and cry quite a lot before he gets a backbone and begins owning you all. On another topic, people really shouldn't use the rocket launcher and fuel rod gun so much. These weapons are both unbalanced and far too easy for most people to use--it is far better to master the use of default CTF weaponry rather than repeatedly questing after overhyped, vaguely homosexual devices that make the user look like a complete nutjob anyways. I have no problem with Warthogs--skilled grenade tosses stop those monsters in their tracks, and an expert dodger can avoid a newer player almost indefinitely. Fuma will be missed!!!

but won't you agree if you use a any weapon (unfair) in the game cancels out it unfairness like lets say you and Fuma driving around our base killing and *thinks of Fuma many comments "stop spawn camping us!" seems to no longer apply so why don't we balance it by using a rocket and a fuel rod to kill you I mean even a master nade thrower can't hit all the time (nades have different times of detonation)
You will be missed Fuma

I must admit, there is a small part of me that will miss being utterly destroyed by Fuma with one hit after gunning down on of his comrades. *Sigh* We'll leave your seat free in respect, Fuma.

Man, today (or rather, yesterday--I'm refering to 1-28-05) was was one of the best Halo days ever. These were definitely some of my own luckiest and best games ever. ;D Pretty crazy stuff happened, like flying up an entire vertical cliff face and sliding all the way back down, the process taking upwards of fifteen seconds. And for some strange reason, when I got really aggressive and attacked the base, I managed to stay alive for an obscene amount of time. (and all without the benefits of a Warthog, Argis ) Then there were the Twin Star moments, doing flips in Warthogs and landing it, and generally driving the other side to tears. There was also one particularly memorable moment where Fuma and Kamui spotted two snipers on a cliffside, and so Kamui gunned the engines and drove along the edge with only two wheels gripping the ground and half of the vehicle extended out into midair while Fuma gunned them down. And then, just as we were proceeding back down the ramp, we noticed a third individual, and while continuing to shoot, we somehow managed to accelerate down the cliffside, land smoothly, and pop a flip before we went off to kill even more. Finally, there were the final Twin Star matches where nobody else mattered, the coordinated Banshee maneuvers, and the ceremonial killing of Whitakker before exiting the game for good. Fun times.

Glad I can make you happy Thanatos, in a rather obtuse way. I don't think I'll ever know why you two are obsessed with my demise constantly during Halo. It seems as if you intentionally seek me out in the midfield, but some of that might be my fault. I don't know why I keep going to midfield after you guys kill me there, at least four to five times in succession. *sigh* It would appear I have much to learn. But rest assured, there will come a day, that long awaited day, when I can take the both of you....

Let me remind you, Syrant, that I have killed you before, rendering that last statement of yours utterly false. But if you mean "defeat", as referring to kill ratio, then yes, you completely pwn my rear end in that category.

Don't think you've gotten rid of me though...I'll be dropping by on Halo days just to hang out for like 5 mins. before practice. (And to yell out FUMA!! a couple of times)

Thanatos, you are correct in every sense. The Warthog physics are second to none. There's nothing quite like engaging in a Warthog battle with an opponent and flipping two dozen times.....and landing! Warthogs rule!!!!
