I never thought he was the anti-Christ to begin with. I do not listen to his music, but I do listen to him talk sometimes, and honestly...he has some very good points and very good ideas. However, I know a lot of people who are nice people with good ideas and good points...that does not mean I am going to agree with EVERY point they make and EVERY idea they have, or everything they do. Marylin Manson is supposed to symbolize fear for people. For me, Marylin Manson does not symbolize fear. For me, he symbolizes what happens when people who claim to know all the answers and know God decide that they are going to condemn and ridicule others instead of reach out to and listen to them.

I never believed that he was the Anti-Christ either, although I do believe that he has long since set his will against God's. One of my teachers told us that when he was a teenager, he went to a youth worship service. Yet, after seeing the hypocritical ways that his peers conducted themselves, acting nice in church and then living a lifestyle apart from Jesus, he walked out of the room, declaring that he would live for Satan better than they lived for God. And the rest, you can say, is history. Marilyn Manson became the figure that symbolized evil in American media and entertainment. But he seems content with the label to me, though.
But all of this will not sway my opinion that Mr. Manson is a lost soul who seems perfectly happy to spend eternity apart from God. To me, few things are as depressing than that.
